We are currently recruiting an Infra Lead for our Carrier Monetization team.The Carrier Monetization team helps people stay connected by integrating mobile carrier’s services into Facebook family of apps. Today we’re driving more than $300M through our channels and the plan is to keep growing significantly.The infra pillar is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the infrastructure that supports Carrier Monetization. This includes caching optimization to improve performance, rendering improvements to enhance user experience, TPS utilization to ensure efficient use of resources, and headers to enable seamless integration with other systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in software development, experience with Meta infra and a passion for building scalable and reliable infrastructure
Software Engineer (Pillar Lead) - Carrier Monetization Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to both your team members and your project peers.
- Be highly technical, hands-on engineer and systems architect.
- Hold your own in technical discussions, be the subject matter expert, have strategic influence on the engineering team.
- Identify risks and drive execution.
- Establish a solid project framework and effective development processes.
- Champion engineering and operational excellence, establishing metrics and process for regular assessment and improvement.
- Work effectively cross-function with multiple stakeholders across multiple organizations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience architecting, developing, and launching software products and/or services.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience/expertise in building B2B products with strong emphasis on user experiences.
- Experience/expertise building Analytics and Business Intelligence products.
- Experience/expertise with Telecom or Mobile market dynamics.
