What You’ll Do:

We are seeking a mid-level Node.js developer to join our Data Science team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Node.js and be proficient in web scraping techniques. Additionally, we value expertise in code design, infrastructure, and clean code practices to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of system AI components
Note: This position provides a long-term growth opportunity, with the potential to eventually lead a team dedicated to new data integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side applications.
• Implement efficient web scraping techniques to extract data from various websites
• Responsible for different data integrations - API, Crawlers, etc
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  
  

What it Takes:

• Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience in Node.js development.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, and Python.
  • Understanding of HTTP and web protocols.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL), and data modeling.
  • Advantage: Experience with web scraping libraries and frameworks (e.g., Puppeteer, Scrapy)
    
    
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Background in data analysis and processing.
