Role Description

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining Paygilant’s core platform using Java and related technologies. You’ll work within a highly skilled technical team, contributing across the entire development lifecycle—from requirement gathering to deployment and ongoing support. This is a full-time hybrid role located in Ramat Gan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Paygilant’s core platform using Java and Spring Boot
• Collaborate with the development team on the full software development lifecycle
• Ensure smooth and efficient system operations
• Participate in cloud-based development using AWS services
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience
• Proficient in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate)
• Experience with Java profiling tools
• Familiar with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and associated services, including Redis
• Solid knowledge of SQL and experience working with both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and non-relational (e.g., DynamoDB) databases
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to efficiently debug and resolve issues
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
