Senior Software Engineer, Israel

We are looking for really good software engineers. And by really good, we mean, really, really good. Your duties will include designing, implementing, debugging, fixing, testing, and bringing up the Lightbits system. This includes participating in the product core development activities and also tight communication with the customers helping them in understanding and deployment of Lightbits solutions. The position is based in Kfar Saba, Israel, with three days in the office and two working remotely.

You are going to be involved in team-work across different R&D teams, which requires excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, learn fast, get familiar with our complex product and development environment.

Responsibilities

• Write high quality and high-performance user-space software in a variety of programming languages including but not limited to C, C++, Go and Python
• Work with the customers, tune Lightbits solution for their needs, develop customer specific features and solve issues

Desired Skills and Experience

• Excellent knowledge and experience in multiple programming languages
• Experience in Go programming (advantage)
• Ability to work independently and push through to completion. We value getting things done
• You need to know what makes computing systems “tick” and how to push them to their limits
• Familiarity with Linux operating system
• Experience with k8s (advantage)
• At least 3 years of experience writing software that works in the real world
• Excellent English
• Good verbal communication skills
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related fields - or commensurate experience
• Customer experience - advantage
