About the Role:

Check Point Harmony Email Security and Collaboration (Previously AVANAN) is a unique email solution that fully secures cloud email and cloud platforms using AI. We are looking for a talented FinOps + DevOps Specialist to join our team! This position is at the critical intersection of cloud financial management, optimization strategy, and operational excellence. You’ll help us maximize the value of every cloud dollar spent, while also ensuring smooth and efficient cloud operations.

Responsibilities

• Cloud Cost Monitoring: Maintain close, continuous oversight of our cloud infrastructure costs to ensure transparency, predictability, and control.
• Service Analysis and Optimization: Develop deep expertise across all services in our systems, and perform regular audits to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Short-Term and Long-Term Cost Reduction Strategies: Design and implement actionable plans to achieve immediate cost savings as well as sustainable, strategic reductions over time.
• Dashboards and Reporting: Build dynamic graphs, dashboards, and reports to deliver real-time visibility into our cloud spending patterns.
• Real-Time Cost Alerting: Develop and deploy a real-time alerting system to detect and notify on unusual cost spikes or anomalies.

Our Cloud Environment:

• AWS is our primary cloud platform.
• We also have operations across GCP and Azure environments.

Required Skills:

• 2-3 years experience in DevOps team
• Proven experience in FinOps, DevOps, Cloud Cost Management, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure (experience with GCP and Azure is a plus).
• Skilled in building cost dashboards using tools like Grafana, Datadog, AWS Cost Explorer, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and cloud-native architectures.
• Sharp analytical skills with the ability to spot inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Proactive, ownership-driven, and passionate about achieving both operational excellence and financial efficiency.
