We are looking for a Board and FPGA Design Engineer to join the Hardware Development Division at IAI's ELTA Systems.
The position includes:
- Leading development from requirements definition to design, implementation, and testing
- Defining architecture and concepts for new products
- Selecting components for implementation
- Designing PCBs including schematic drawings, layout review, and bring-up testing
- Developing FPGA logic design, including implementation of high-speed communication interfaces, signal processing, complex control logic, SoC with ARM cores, and interfaces with DDR, ADC, DAC, DDS components
- Managing and guiding internal and external development teams
- Overseeing subcontractors within and outside the company
What we’re looking for:
- B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering – required
- Specialization in areas such as Communication, DSP, CPU, or VLSI – preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in board-level electronics design – advantage
- At least 3 years of experience in FPGA logic design – advantage

This role offers end-to-end responsibility over complex products, exposure to cutting-edge technologies, and work across a wide range of development disciplines. You'll define architecture and develop advanced PCBs (digital, analog, RF-integrated, SoC-based) for mission-critical radar systems deployed on diverse platforms.
