This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining the flexibility of remote work with the collaborative benefits of on-site engagement at our Yokneam office. You’ll report directly to the Chief AI Officer and contribute to projects that may require occasional travel to partner sites or conferences. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Develops and communicates descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive insights/algorithms.
- Clinical needs translation: Assist cross-functional teams in converting clinical needs into actionable requirements, ensuring AI/ML solutions meet technical and user outcomes.
- Stakeholder communication: Document and present technical work to stakeholders, aligning with strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, clinicians, and product managers to build robust AI-driven solutions that integrate seamlessly into medical workflows.
- Participate in the research and validation of algorithms using real-world clinical datasets, ensuring compliance with medical standards and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of AI models by leveraging data-driven insights and user feedback.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Good understanding in fundamental math such as linear algebra and calculus with at least two years of college-level science or engineering education.
- Strong Python programming skills with experience in math/ML libraries such as NumPy and PyTorch.
- Solid understanding of machine learning techniques and data preprocessing methods, with practical experience implementing AI models from research to deployment.
- Experience in the medical device space is a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a regulated industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
