Position Overview -
We are looking for an experienced
Backend Engineer to join our team and drive the development of scalable, high-performance backend systems. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing services that support large-scale applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
Your Ownership Will Include
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services, written in GO, APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability to support large-scale applications.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver seamless integrations.
- Implement best practices for backend security, observability, and infrastructure automation.
- Work with cloud-native technologies, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and distributed systems.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and production incidents.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while conducting code reviews.
Requirements
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (Go, Python, Node.js).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently.
- Expertise in working with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
Nice To Have
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and service orchestration - Huge advantage!
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Coralogix, etc.).
- Knowledge of cost optimization strategies for cloud-native workloads.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm).
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments.
