Teads, a leader in the digital advertising space, is seeking a highly motivated and self-reliant Data Engineer to join our dynamic Data Group.

Are you passionate about building and scaling cutting-edge big data environments? Are you energized by turning raw, complex data into clear, data-driven strategies? We are looking for an enthusiastic and seasoned Data Engineer with a strong capacity for self-learning and a proven track record of delivering results. As a key member of our team, you will tackle the ever-evolving complexities of our business and technology, making a tangible impact on our data-driven decisions.

What will you do?

  • Take full ownership of the data lifecycle, from gathering business requirements and designing data models to implementing, deploying, and maintaining robust ETL processes in our production environment.
  • Translate complex business needs into detailed and effective data model designs within our data warehouse.
  • Design, develop, and maintain software engineering tools and solutions using Python and Scala to enhance our data infrastructure and workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineers, Product Managers, and Data Analysts to understand product goals and ensure data solutions align with their needs.
  • Ensure data is accurately loaded, transformed, and accessible for reporting and analysis across the organization.

What will you bring to the team?

  • Must-Have:
    • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
    • At least 2 years of proven experience in data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing.
    • Excellent proficiency in SQL.
    • Excellent communication skills in both Hebrew and English (written and verbal).
    • A fast and independent learner with a strong team-player mentality.
  • Huge Advantage:
    • Hands-on experience with the following technologies: Airflow, DBT, BigQuery, MySQL, Hadoop, Hive, or Spark.
    • Proficiency in programming with Python or Scala.
