Overview
Job Description:

Overall Purpose: Design, develop/code, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software solutions, ensuring efficient delivery processes and production support with a focus on automation and industry best practices.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Design, Development and Coding: Design and code software applications by applying various programming languages to execute development methodologies. (Software Engineers MUST design AND code applications at a minimum.)
  • Collaboration and Communication: Gather and review software requirements, provide estimates, create design specifications, and work with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions.
  • Testing and Debugging: Develop and implement automated test plans, validate test environments, data, and results, design and implement code fixes, and produce reporting.
  • Maintenance and Support: Troubleshoot and resolve application configuration and environment issues.
  • Deployment: Facilitate and support the software deployment process.


Job Contribution: A professional with solid knowledge of fundamental concepts and organizational practices, working on smaller projects.
