We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Team Manager to lead our Motion Control team in the development of automotive-grade embedded systems. This position is a critical leadership role in REE’s mission to deliver innovative X-by-wire platforms. You will manage a team of motion control engineers, drive development of cutting-edge software, and ensure compliance with the highest automotive standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Motion Control Software Development Team.

Oversee the design and development of embedded systems for motion control applications (motor control, steer-by-wire, brake-by-wire).

Creating Simulink-based algorithms for auto code generation.

Deliver software on time and with high quality, aligned with REE’s program timelines and expectations.

Support compliance with automotive safety and quality standards such as ISO 26262 and ASPICE.

Promote innovative solutions and adopt state-of-the-art technologies in the motion control development domain.

Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, systems, and integration teams in a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment.

Requirements:

BSc. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (MSc. – Advantage).

7+ years of hands-on experience in motion control software engineering, including:

Real-time embedded software development- C/C++.

Proven experience with auto code generation workflows (Simulink, Embedded Coder).

Motor control systems (BLDC/PMSM/FOC, etc.).

Familiarity with hardware/software integration for electromechanical systems.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Fast learner with a passion for technology and innovation.

Nice to Have

Knowledge in automotive embedded systems, including ECU architectures, CAN, and vehicle dynamics.

Experience working with automotive calibration tools (e.g., Vector CANape).

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and requirements traceability tools.
