About Solid:

We are developing an AI Powered Analytics Management Platform, which standardizes business analytic processes, automates them and empowers analysts with information and recommendations that increase their productivity and analysis quality.
As Solid’s Backend Engineer, you will play an important role in building GenAI-based software in Solid’s platform. You will leverage AI to automate business analytics tasks, provide chat experience for business leaders, drive insights from data and build recommendation systems. You’ll be reporting directly to VP Engineering and work closely with the research and product teams.
You will be joining a dedicated core team as one of the early hires, with significant opportunities to grow and contribute to the company’s future and culture.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the design and implement backend components of Solid’s AI-powered analytics platform.
Develop and optimize scalable microservices and serverless architectures.
Integrate AI models into the backend to automate business analytics tasks and improve decision-making capabilities.
Collaborate with data scientists to deploy machine learning models in a production environment.
Create and maintain robust RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support frontend applications and third-party integrations.
Design and manage data pipelines, ensuring seamless data flow between systems and optimizing data processing.
Conduct performance tuning and ensure high availability of backend services.
Implement caching, load balancing, and other optimization strategies to handle high-volume data processing and user requests.
Ensure the security of the platform by implementing best practices for data protection and secure coding.
Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Work closely with the research and product teams to define technical requirements and provide insights into system improvements.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Identify and implement improvements in development processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends to drive innovation within the team.
