abra North is seeking a skilled AS400 Developer to join a dynamic team, for one of our costumers.

This role requires strong background in AS400 programming and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

A full time, on site position, based in Rishon Le Zion, Israel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain AS400 applications using RPG and CL programming languages.
• Collaborate with business analysts and other developers to gather requirements and design solutions.
• Perform system analysis and troubleshooting to resolve production issues.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for developed software.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Ensure code quality through testing and validation processes.
• Support the deployment of software updates and patches in production environments.
  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in AS400 development, specifically with RPG.
• Proven experience in integrating AS400 applications with other systems.
• Strong understanding of database management and SQL on the AS400 platform.
• Experience with system analysis and troubleshooting techniques in AS400 environments.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
