Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile ATE Engineer with a strong background in
hardware, firmware, software, and test engineering. The ideal candidate will design,
develop, and deploy automatic test stations (ATE) and final test stations (FTS) for multiple
products on our manufacturing floor.
The System Engineer will report directly to the Director of Hardware and play a central role in
the HW Team.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, design, and implement automatic test stations (ATE) and final test stations (FTS)
for various products for board-level, system-level, and production-level verification.
Define, design, and develop of hardware (HW), firmware (FW), and software (SW) for
test systems, collaborating with hardware, firmware, and mechanical engineers.
Take full ownership of board design cycle for tester hardware and SW: create
schematics, coordinate with PCB layout and housing design, perform bring-up testing, ,
including integration of measurement instruments such as current/voltage meters, RF
analyzers, RF matrix, Analog switch, oscilloscopes, and programmable loads.
Integrate and control peripheral devices such as barcode readers, pneumatic
mechanisms, and other fixture components to automate testing processes.
Create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents for test
systems.
Define and manage the SW requirements and lead board qualification.
Perform Gage R&R testing to validate accuracy and repeatability of stations.
Deliver stable, production-ready test stations to the manufacturing floor, provide
production files and detailed documentation, and manage source control for all station
software and related assets.
Requirements:
Education: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Experience in leading ATE and FTS station design and development.
Experience in managing test Automation Software Engineer: Proficiency in C#,
LabVIEW, Python, or equivalent for test automation.
Source Control: Familiarity with managing code in systems like Git or SVN.
Experience in product lifecycle management from concept to release.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a system-level mindset.
