About the Role

We are looking for a Hands-On Head of Team - a strong technical leader who stays close to the code, designs architecture, and raises the engineering bar across the team.

This role is for someone who thinks big but executes flawlessly, is deeply committed to quality, and wants to have a meaningful impact on a platform used daily by thousands of users to run their core business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical leadership of a development team with significant hands-on contribution
• Design and development of core system components
• Defining engineering standards, performing code reviews, and enforcing best practices
• Improving system performance, stability, and scalability
• Close collaboration with the CTO and participation in architectural decision-making

• 7+ years of experience developing complex production-grade SaaS web systems
• Proven experience with microservices / distributed systems, containers, and Kubernetes
• Deep, hands-on understanding of architecture, scalability, performance, and security
• Experience in technical leadership and mentoring developers, including code reviews
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps — a significant advantage
• High sense of ownership, maturity, and the ability to lead by personal example
