About the Role

We are looking for a talented Motion Control Engineer, to join and lead our Motion Control V&V team in Petah Tikva.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for programing and calibrating controllers and inverters.
  • Making measurements related to these motors, power measurement, losses, efficiency and various electrical and mechanical and thermal measurements.


Qualifications

  • Education: BSc or higher Electrical / Electromechanical Engineer


Required Skills

  • Proven experience (HANDS-ON) in three-phase electric motor control with high currents and high power, type BLDC \ RFPM.
  • Experience with accurate measurements related to these motors, power measurement, losses, efficiency and various electrical and mechanical and thermal measurements.
  • Quick self-study abilities and understanding of theories and their feasibility, measurement system integration capability, supply and complete motor operation, including battery handling, power supplies, measuring tools, controllers and voltage converters and all their interfaces.
  • Ability to work with computer and Excel / Visio software and tools for generating reports and data collection.
  • Knowledge in dedicated control / simulation software such as Matlab or Labview.
  • Knowledge in writing software for micro-controllers.
  • Full recognition of the CAN bus protocol.
  • Knowledge and understanding of electronic circuits, especially digital circuits and strong current switching circuits.
  • Ability to work with high voltages up to 800V.
  • Dealing with noise measurements, grounding treatment, stream distribution calculations and safety measures.
  • Priority for those with knowledge in electromechanical schematic drawing tools.
  • English - high level.
