Job Summary

As a software algorithm engineer you will be part of Oriient’s algorithmic team and be responsible for the deployment process of the algorithmic modules.

You will be responsible for development of infrastructure to serve the algorithmic researchers in the team and will collaborate closely with the researchers in order to understand and implement the needed algorithms into production level code.

You will report to the Algorithm team leader and work with other team members and the entire RnD group.

You will play a key role in a small team of top notch algorithm engineers, maturing the world's most advanced IndoorGPS platform with highly advanced algorithms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop software features for production

Gain deep understanding of existing core algorithmic modules. Their API and limitations and adapt them as needed per client and project requirements. Understand how to test and release them to production at the algorithmic level.

• develop internal infrastructure software tools

Understand the algorithm team research requirements and existing tools. And be the leader point of improving them and building new capabilities with a more automated and robust approach.

Qualifications and Experience

• B.Sc in Electrical Engineering/ software engineering - Must
• At least 3 years of hands-on, real-world experience with software engineering in algorithmic context
• Excellent MATLAB & Python proficiency.
• Experience and familiarity with the following subjects:
• Cloud compute
• Docker
• Data and algorithmic pipelines
• GPU
• SQL and Non SQL Databases
• Experience with GCP environment and Vertex AI - Big advantage
• Motivation / understanding of mathematical concepts
