A leading company in the field of advanced hybrid propulsion systems for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and drones is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join its engineering team.

The role is part of a small engineering team of 2–4 engineers and focuses on ownership of electronic subsystems within complex, aviation-grade products, from development through integration and production

Key Responsibilities

  • Own electronic subsystems throughout the product lifecycle, from development to production.
  • Lead electronic aspects of multidisciplinary system design and integration.
  • Support transition from R&D to production (NPI) and sustain released products.
  • Maintain electronic configurations, revisions, and engineering documentation.
  • Support production, suppliers, and technical issue resolution.
  • Work closely with mechanical, software, and control engineers in a small, focused team.

Qualifications

Mandatory

  • B.Sc. in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in electronics hardware development.
  • Proven experience working on complex, multidisciplinary products.

Additional Experience

  • Aerospace, UAV, or defense systems.
  • NPI and transition to production.
  • Direct work with manufacturers and suppliers.

Key Skills

  • Experience with microcontroller-based systems (e.g., Atmel SAM D series, STM32, or similar).
  • Board-level design based on MCUs, including power, clock, reset, and programming/debug interfaces.
  • Bring-up of MCU-based boards and integration with firmware.
  • Configuration and use of MCU peripherals: GPIO, timers, ADC/DAC, PWM, UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and interrupts.
  • Hardware-firmware integration and system-level debugging.
  • Understanding of real-time behavior and control-oriented embedded systems (including PID interaction).
  • Ability to read, review, and maintain schematics and board-level documentation.
  • Structured troubleshooting using measurements and firmware interaction.
  • Strong teamwork skills, can-do attitude, and willingness to take ownership.
  • Clear technical communication and effective collaboration in a small engineering team.

Why Join Us?

You’ll be part of a winning engineering team pushing the boundaries of hybrid propulsion for UAVs. You'll have a direct impact on real hardware and work with passionate engineers across disciplines to bring complex systems to life.
