System Engineer – Inertial & Magnetic Tracking Technologies
Location: Haifa, Israel
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled System Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of advanced head‑mounted systems, integrating cutting‑edge inertial and magnetic tracking technologies. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on multidisciplinary, state‑of‑the‑art platforms in the aerospace and defense domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the specification and development of inertial sensing boards and related hardware.
- Define, develop, and optimize calibration and testing processes for inertial and magnetic tracking systems.
- Work closely with cross‑functional system engineering teams on complex, multi‑sensor platforms such as:
- Airborne augmented and mixed‑reality head‑mounted systems
-UAV platforms
-Additional advanced navigation products
- Participate in magnetic tracker calibration cycles and performance.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Exact Sciences.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in system or subsystem specification and implementation — advantageous.
- Proven experience with sensing, tracking, or navigation systems.
- Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python.
- Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to rapidly learn and master new physical and technological concepts.
- Experience with inertial sensor development — advantage.
- Experience in developing tracking and navigation algorithms — advantage.
- Excellent command of English (written and verbal).
- Willingness to travel abroad as required.
