Overview

Konnecto is looking for a highly skilled Lead Backend Engineer (Data Focus) with strong data orientation and a proven ability to own complex backend systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving hard technical problems, thrives in a high ownership environment, and wants to work on systems that power insights for global brands. You will play a central role in our backend architecture, core algorithmic logic, and large scale data processing.

You will also join a team that is growing, where strong engineers naturally take on broader responsibilities over time and influence how the group evolves. Konnecto works on advanced affiliate intelligence and AI driven insights for global brands. The team solves complex data and algorithmic challenges at scale and collaborates closely across the Partnerize ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using NestJS and TypeScript
• Architect and optimize large scale data workflows
• Work with SQL and MongoDB to manage structured and semi structured data
• Work extensively with Snowflake and high volume data pipelines
• Enhance and refine core algorithmic logic
• Develop internal automation and tooling using LLMs
• Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to deliver high quality features
• Own critical backend components from design to production deployment
• Contribute to engineering best practices, reliability improvements, and performance tuning
• Participate in shaping technical direction and helping the team grow as the group scales

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands on backend engineering experience
• Strong experience with TypeScript and NodeJS
• Deep understanding of backend architecture and distributed systems
• Hands on experience with SQL, NoSQL, and especially MongoDB
• Experience working with Snowflake or similar data warehouses
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive complex projects end to end
• Background in data engineering or algorithm focused backend work is an advantage
• Experience integrating or building automation around LLMs is an advantage
