Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Head of DBA Team to lead database operations and infrastructure in a large enterprise environment.

The role includes full responsibility for managing the DBA team and core database platforms, supporting critical business systems, and ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability across production and testing environments.

Responsibilities include database installations, backups, performance tuning, upgrades, ongoing maintenance, and close support of development teams.

The position also involves hands-on work with core databases and availability for on-call support during nights and weekends.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle / MS SQL DBA
• 3+ years of experience managing a DBA team in an Enterprise environment
• Strong planning skills with a broad, multidisciplinary perspective
• Proven experience in both infrastructure and application-level DBA work
• Strong expertise in performance analysis and tuning

A senior leadership role in a critical financial environment, combining team management with deep technical ownership.
