Senior Algorithm Researcher – Radar Data Processing
We are looking for an experienced Senior Algorithm Researcher for a challenging role that combines deep theoretical research with hands-on implementation using real-world data from operational systems.
This is a key position focused on developing detection, alerting, and decision-making capabilities for mission-critical systems, within a multidisciplinary and technologically advanced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead research and data analysis in the field of radar signal and information processing
- Develop, analyze, and improve algorithms for detection, classification, and target tracking
- Work with raw, noisy, and high-dimensional data from operational sensors
- Translate mathematical and theoretical models into practical, real-time algorithms
- Integrate algorithms into existing systems and new developments
- Collaborate with software, hardware, system, and test teams
- Lead validation processes, performance analysis, and continuous algorithm improvement
Requirements
- At least 6–8 years of experience in algorithm research and development
- Strong background in signal processing, image processing, remote sensing, or a related field
- Hands-on experience developing algorithms for detection, classification, or tracking
- Proven ability to work with raw data and extract insights from complex information
- Experience transitioning research into production (Research to Production)
- High proficiency in Python, MATLAB, C++, or similar languages
- Advanced degree (M.Sc. / Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
Significant Advantage
- Experience working with radar systems or similar sensors
- Familiarity with real-time systems
- Experience with multi-sensor systems (Sensor Fusion)
- Background in Machine Learning / Deep Learning for signal processing
