Head of Engineering

The Role

We are looking for a Head of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering organization as we continue to grow.

This role is ideal for a hands-on engineering leader who grew through software development roles and has experience building teams in startup environments. You will be responsible for shaping the engineering culture, scaling the organization, and ensuring the successful delivery of our platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the engineering organization, including team leads and individual contributors
• Define and execute the engineering strategy aligned with company goals
• Build scalable engineering processes and development practices
• Work closely with product, security, and executive leadership on roadmap and strategy
• Ensure high standards for system architecture, reliability, and security
• Recruit, mentor, and develop top engineering talent
• Drive a culture of ownership, innovation, and execution

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including a proven track record of leading engineering teams in startup and high-growth environments.
• Experience managing multiple teams or team leads
• Strong system architecture and cloud-native platform experience
• Experience with microservices architectures and large-scale systems
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Nice to have:

• Experience in cybersecurity, DevSecOps, or developer tooling
• Experience scaling engineering teams from early-stage to growth-stage companies
• Familiarity with AI-driven platforms or data-intensive systems
