A winning ad could change the trajectory of a mobile game. The only way to consistently find winners is to explore more, faster, and smarter than anyone else.

Sett is a UA creative performance platform for mobile gaming. We build agentic AI systems that analyze performance data, generate diverse playable and video ad concepts, deploy them to ad networks, and continuously learn from the results. The full creative loop. Automated, and done better than humans only.

Our system doesn't remix templates. It creates fundamentally different creative hypotheses, each one built from real performance signals.

About The Position

As a Data Scientist in Sett’s research team, you’ll work on ideation intelligence for playable ads, helping us understand what drives creative performance and how to generate better ideas at scale. You’ll tackle ambiguous problems, develop data-driven approaches, and help connect insights, modeling, and experimentation to practical product outcomes. This role combines applied research, analytical depth, and hands-on development, and is ideal for someone who enjoys turning messy signals into clear direction.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop data products and models that improve ideation intelligence for playable ads.
  • Analyze gameplay data, creative, and performance data to identify patterns and opportunities.
  • Design evaluation frameworks and experiments to validate new approaches.

Requirements:

  • M.Sc. in Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience), at least 3 years of relevant experience overall.
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills.
  • Legit Python skills and experience building data or ML workflows.
  • Experience with experimentation, modeling, and evaluation in real-world settings
  • Ability to tackle (highly!) ambiguous problems and shape direction from incomplete information.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with recommendation systems, performance optimization such as SEO, or creative optimization problems
  • Experience in LLM development
  • Background in games, gaming, or strong affinity to the space

The ideal candidate is passionate about applied research, and is excited by the challenge of building intelligence around creative ideation and performance.
