About the role:

As a Team Leader, you will lead a tight-knit and dynamic team of engineers that takes pride in high coding standards and modern development practices. You’ll be responsible for leading the development of new user-facing features, while meeting deadlines and maintaining world-class product quality. This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring active involvement in architecture, development, code reviews, and technical decision-making alongside the team.

You’ll be working with technologies like React, Node.js, AWS, and scalable databases to build a unique product experience, while also driving the adoption and implementation of AI tools and AI-driven development practices across the engineering workflow.

Each member of our team is an all-around player who influences the product from the overall experience to the development process, and you’ll be no different. We’re looking for someone passionate about building products end-to-end through UX, design, coding, testing, and deployment phases.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of software engineers to achieve business goals in a high-paced, Agile methodology while maintaining the highest quality
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design/UX, DevOps, and other R&D teams
• Design, implement, and optimize highly scalable and maintainable user-facing systems and APIs
• Hire, mentor, and inspire a team to adopt engineering excellence
• Set goals, define tasks, and manage timelines to execute a roadmap
• Plan and execute quarterly and sprint plans, communicate risks and mitigations effectively
  
  

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience managing a team of engineers
• 6+ years of professional experience as a software engineer with frontend and backend development
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, React, and Serverless architecture is a must
• A deep understanding of production systems and the architecture of web products
• Experience implementing AI systems as a foundation for the development process
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Proactive team player with a strong sense of ownership and a desire to impact the team, product, and customers
• Independent fast learner with a deep understanding of production systems and web architecture, eager to explore new technologies
