We are hiring a Software Development Group Lead of Analytics & Devices Engineering to lead multiple global teams within R&D.
This is a key leadership role overseeing multiple development teams responsible for Network Security Elements data collection, modeling, and analysis, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and innovative solutions. The position requires strong technical and managerial skills, the ability to work across multiple time zones, and a passion for driving excellence in software engineering.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple R&D teams (Network Security Data Collection, Modeling & Analytics development teams, AI driven security bot) across different global locations.
- Oversee the work of developers ensuring efficient and high-quality product development and delivery.
- Matrix-manage QA and Automation engineers working on the product, ensuring strong alignment with quality and testing strategies.
- Drive the technical vision and execution of data collection, modeling, and analytics solutions, ensuring alignment with AlgoSec’s overall product strategy and shift to Agentic SDLC.
- Own and drive the execution of product versions to General Availability (GA) on time, ensuring state-of-the-art quality and delivery of all committed content.
- Foster cross-team collaboration, ensuring smooth integration of features across different teams and geographies.
- Work closely with Product Management, System Engineering, and other R&D groups to define and execute development roadmaps.
- Ensure teams follow best practices for scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Promote and implement automation strategies to improve software quality, efficiency, and release cycles.
- Provide mentorship, career growth, and performance management for direct reports.
- Oversee the team’s technical decision-making, problem-solving, and innovation efforts.
- Define and track KPIs for development efficiency, quality, and delivery timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in managing R&D teams, preferably in a multi-site, global environment.
- Experience as a manager of managers, leading multiple teams in complex development projects.
- Strong background in software development, with experience in one or more of the following: Java, Python, or other modern programming languages. Hands-on experience with AI driven development and management.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), databases, and distributed systems.
- Proven experience overseeing QA, test automation, and CI/CD processes in a matrix management environment.
- Experience working with AI-powered coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) within development environments
- Proven ability to effectively use/develop AI Agents
- Strong ability to manage teams remotely, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
- Proven track record of delivering product versions on time, meeting quality standards, and ensuring feature completeness.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to balance technical depth with strategic thinking to drive projects forward.
