Mertens - Malam Team is looking for an experienced Android Tech Lead to join a leading financial organization in the Shfela region This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of innovative Native Android applications while driving technical excellence architectural decisions and cross platform development teams

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of Native Android applications for digital banking platforms including mobile applications and online services

Provide technical and architectural leadership for innovative digital products

Lead development processes and collaborate with cross functional teams

Develop high quality Android applications using modern technologies and best practices

Work with Restful APIs GraphQL and third party libraries

Contribute to CI CD processes and continuous delivery improvements

Drive engineering excellence and support the evolution of the organization's digital platforms

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience developing Native Android applications using Kotlin and Java

Strong hands on experience with Android Studio Jetpack Compose ViewModel LiveData and Data Binding

Experience working with Restful APIs GraphQL and integrating third party libraries

Deep understanding of modern software architecture principles including MVVM Clean Architecture or MVP

Experience building and supporting CI CD processes using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions

Previous technical leadership or team management experience is an advantage
