Mertens, part of MalamTeam, is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join a leading organization in the Gush Dan area

Join a multidisciplinary Data & AI team developing advanced personalization solutions based on Machine Learning and Reinforcement Learning

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end Data Science research, from problem definition and data collection and validation to model development, evaluation, and real-time Production deployment

Develop advanced models and solutions that directly impact user experience, using advanced algorithms and statistical methods

Evaluate model performance and impact in Production and collaborate with Engineering, BI, and Product teams to rapidly develop, test, and deploy effective solutions

Provide professional leadership and mentoring to Data Science and Machine Learning professionals, serve as a leading domain expert, and contribute to scientific articles, blogs, and conferences

Requirements

M.Sc or Ph.D in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a relevant field

At least 4 years of professional experience

Deep theoretical and practical knowledge of Machine Learning

Strong proficiency in Python

Excellent problem-solving and scientific thinking skills, with the ability to lead complex Data Science projects

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders

Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment
