Mertens MalamTeam is looking for a Cloud Solutions Architect to join a government ministry in Jerusalem

The role focuses on shaping and implementing the organization’s cloud strategy, defining its technology roadmap, and leading cloud architecture from planning through Production integration

Responsibilities

Define and implement the cloud technology and infrastructure roadmap

Design cloud solutions and ensure architectural compliance with accepted standards

Evaluate and implement relevant technologies based on organizational needs

Monitor and oversee ongoing cloud activity and support multiple project teams from planning through Production integration

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect in public cloud environments, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, environment management, and technology team management

At least 4 years of experience with GCP migration and development, including leading cloud Migration projects and providing architectural guidance to development teams building solutions on Google Cloud Platform

Experience designing Networking and comprehensive Information Security architecture for complex cloud environments

Proven Networking and Information Security architecture experience in at least 2 projects involving critical core systems or high-volume user environments that are implemented and operational in Production

Experience designing and integrating GenAI and LLM solutions in the cloud, including managed services such as Vertex AI and advanced architectural patterns such as RAG

Proven AI and LLM architecture experience in at least 2 projects involving critical core systems or high-volume user environments that are implemented and operational in Production
