Role summary:

  • Develop and maintain real-time embedded firmware tooling for wearable devices that stream EMG/neuro, IMU, and PPG data over BLE/USB.
  • Work close to hardware: bring-up, debug with lab instruments, and translate AFE/IMU/PPG datasheets into reliable C code.
  • Our development process relies on multidisciplinary synergy, shared ownership, and shared knowledge.
  • Being a team player helps us make cross-team decisions, anticipate bottlenecks, and translate complex constraints into clear, maintainable solutions that move the team forward.

Requirements:

  • BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Biomedical Engineering.
  • Strong C for bare-metal / RTOS on Zephyr for Nordic CPUs
  • Real-time constraints: ISRs, DMA, buffering, timing, low latency
  • Proven experience in building HW real-time drivers from datasheets and testing them end-to-end.
  • Comfortable working with memory, power, and CPU budgets on small MCUs
  • BLE stack experience (Nordic SoftDevice/nRF Connect, Zephyr, or similar)
  • Hands-on experience using an oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and multimeter for signal/protocol debug
  • UART/SPI/I2C debug and firmware-hardware root-cause analysis
  • Debug of RF/link issues (connection drops, throughput, latency)
  • Understanding electronics schematics
  • Background in biomedical engineering or clinical/wearable bio signal work - Advantage.
