About Factify

There's no better moment than now agents get things wrong. That's not a small secret - it's the whole industry's problem. Independent research from 2026 (Gartner, Forrester, McKinsey) puts the failure rate at 86–89% of enterprise agent pilots that never make it to production. Gartner now projects that over 40% of agentic AI projects will be canceled by 2027 — most of them over inadequate risk and governance controls. And as of August 2026, the EU AI Act's transparency obligations are in force: governance just went from nice-to-have to mandatory. Factify exists to fix that.

We're building Governed Truth Infrastructure for agentic AI in regulated industries - banking and insurance first - through a three-function architecture: Seal · Enforce · Prove. Two patents are already pending on the core architecture, on top of the registered patents already backing our technology. Design partners are live in production - real logos, real ARR targets.

And we're building it for the people actually shipping this future: the developers, AI engineers, forward-deployed engineers, and AI strategists building and governing agents that do real work for their organizations and their clients. The FDE is now the fastest-growing role in tech - postings up 700%+ year over year (Indeed · Live Data Technologies, 2026). They all need a platform they can trust. That's what we're building.

We're well-funded ($73M raised), the team is strong, and there's real momentum in the market. This isn't a bet on "maybe it'll happen" - it's already happening.

We are looking for a partner to shape not just how we build the technology, but where it goes. It's a CTO seat in the fullest sense - a partner at the table with three legs:

• Technology Vision

The technical voice of the company. You'll sit with us on long-term direction and define what Governed Truth Infrastructure means as a category - the reference architecture others get measured against. You'll stand in front of architecture review boards, CISOs, and security teams at some of the most regulated enterprises in the world and walk out with their confidence. When a technical buyer, an analyst, or a partner asks "how does this actually work?" - you're the answer.

• Core Product

The architecture, the technical core, the patent-backed IP. The problems here are the kind CTOs pick companies for: enforcing deterministic, auditable guarantees on top of non-deterministic agents; turning an enterprise's living rulebook into something machines obey and auditors can inspect; producing evidence for every decision at production scale. Turning our vision into code that actually works, at the reliability bar that regulated, high-stakes industries demand.

• Deployment Teams

The teams that deliver the solution end to end for our customers - from first scoping to live in production. They're the spearhead of our first go-to-market motion to land design partners: they see how the product behaves in the field and turn deployment reality into product truth. You'll own this loop.

Who this is

Someone who is genuinely curious, who goes deep into the product and the customer before running to a solution. A super technical person, who still knows how to talk to a customer and understand what actually hurts. You'll be joining a leadership team already in motion revenue, product, marketing, deployment - building this together. But mostly, I'm looking for a leader. Someone people follow because they want to, not because they have to. It's the chance to shape the technical side of a new category from the ground up.

What you'll do

• Serve as the technical voice of the company, partner directly with the CEO and leadership team on long-term technology strategy, IP, and category positioning
• Act as the company's technical face to enterprise customers, architecture review boards, CISOs, and security teams at highly regulated enterprises like banks and insurers.
• Own the technical architecture and roadmap for Factify's core platform (Seal / Enforce / Prove).
• Build and lead the R&D and deployment engineering organizations — with the deployment teams as the spearhead of our first GTM motion to land design partners.
• Translate customer pain, deployment friction, and field reality into product and architecture decisions.
• Set the engineering culture and hiring bar for a team built to move fast without breaking trust - this is infrastructure regulated industries need to rely on.

Requirements

• Deep technical depth — hands-on, not just strategic; you can go into the weeds when it matters.
• Experience building and scaling engineering teams, ideally through the 0→1 and 1→10 stages.
• Comfort owning both architecture and people — this is a builder-leader role, not a pure IC or pure manager track.
• Genuine curiosity: you investigate before you prescribe.
• Strong customer-facing instincts — able to stand in front of a technical enterprise buyer and hold the room.
• Long-term technology vision paired with a bias to ship.
• Hunger to build something from scratch, in a category that's still being defined.

Strong advantages

• Experience in regulated industries (banking, insurance, fintech) or enterprise infrastructure.
• Background with AI/agentic systems, LLM infrastructure, governance, or compliance-adjacent technology.
• Familiarity with enterprise deployment models — VPC/on-prem, security reviews, SOC 2-grade scrutiny.
• Prior CTO or equivalent technical leadership at an early-stage company.
