We’re looking for an R&D Team Lead - Agents Platform to lead the team building the next generation of AI products and infrastructure at Anecdotes.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a highly technical person who loves building from scratch, thrives in ever changing environment, and knows how to turn rapidly evolving AI capabilities into reliable, production-grade products.

What You'll Do:

• Lead & Grow the Team Lead a team of engineers, owning day-to-day execution, technical roadmap, performance, growth, and hiring.
• Build Agentic Products Hands-On Design and build production-grade AI agents and agentic workflows that solve complex GRC problems at enterprise scale.
• Shape the Product Partner closely with Product and other teams to understand customer problems and translate them into valuable AI capabilities.
• Raise the Bar Establish strong engineering practices and standards while helping the team experiment, learn, and iterate quickly in a rapidly evolving space.
• Lead by Example Write code, review designs and PRs, prototype new approaches, and dive into complex technical challenges alongside the team.
  
  

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-based products, AI agents, or agentic workflows in production - Must.
• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with strong backend and system-design fundamentals.
• 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, such as Team Lead or Tech Lead, in a fast-paced product environment.
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience designing, evaluating, and improving non-deterministic / generative AI systems, including evaluation frameworks, observability, and quality measurement.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, APIs, databases, and cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong product mindset and the ability to translate complex customer and business problems into technical solutions.
• Excellent execution in fast-moving and rapidly changing environments - you bring clarity, make decisions, and help teams move quickly.
• Experience mentoring and growing engineers while maintaining a high technical bar.

• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks, tool calling, RAG, retrieval systems, or multi-agent architectures.
• Familiar with Python development.
• Experience working with large-scale data processing or data-intensive systems.
