Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain an existing GIS platform while building new modules and capabilities

Develop Web Maps using modern GIS technologies

Work with Open Source GIS tools and geospatial databases

Perform advanced geospatial analysis and support GIS-based solutions

Gather and analyze user requirements to identify business needs

Evaluate, implement, and integrate appropriate GIS technologies and solutions

Collaborate closely with customers and cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle

Requirements

2+ years of experience in GIS development

Experience working with Open Source GIS tools

Hands-on experience developing Web Maps

Experience with MapLibre GL JS or Mapbox GL JS

Experience working with GeoServer

Proficiency in Python and JavaScript development

Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or MSSQL and SQL
